Here's to hoping that the NBA will pull their heads out and take one of the struggling franchises (I'm looking at you Memphis, Sacramento, Indiana) and move them to Seattle!

See guys, this is no small thing that you're doing. I mean that as genuinely as possible.

Sonics fans, I really feel for you. My dad lived in CT, and had whalers season tickets for the better part of ten years. We went to games every weekend. I still think that the last home game in april of 97 was one of the most emotional days of my life. I still can't watch the NHL.

I really like you passion for NBA and for a you former team bro. I think we need more fans like you who will stick to they team tell they die, and have a great off season b-ball jones will miss you guys but can't wait for the next season to start GO MAGIC!!!!!!!

I'm from outside North America and have only been to two NBA games... one of them at Key Arena to watch the Sonics.

I had a beer with a stranger before the game at a nearby bar, and his passion and knowledge for the Sonics left an impression on me. It is doubtful that stranger was you Michael J, but I often think of that night at Key Arena and empathise with all Seattle basketball fans.

Man, I feel sad when I think of the Sonics. OKC can walk the plank as far as I am concerned that was when Basketball lost a big chunk of its soul, when the Sonics were stolen from Seattle.
